Para el mundo del balompi\u00e9, Santiago Garc\u00eda era el Morro. Y el Morro era para Godoy Cruz el \u00faltimo gran \u00eddolo. Delantero de categor\u00eda y fuerza descomunal, resultaba intratable para las defensas rivales. Jug\u00f3 en Nacional de su Uruguay natal y supo coquetear con Belgrano y estuvo a un paso de ser jugador de Talleres, pero esos detalles hoy son una an\u00e9cdota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Para el mundo del f\u00fatbol y el periodismo que solo hace show, no hay nada mejor que ser jugador de f\u00fatbol. Las luces, los estadios llenos, la fama, las mujeres, el dinero, los hoteles y las mansiones. Claro, el negocio y esos medios solo muestran los “exitosos”, aquellos que juegan en los “grandes” o en Europa. Aquellos que son parte del show que se prestan para ser medi\u00e1ticos. Pero claro, son las minor\u00edas. La inmensa mayor\u00eda de los jugadores de f\u00fatbol viven otra realidad, lejos de las c\u00e1maras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La diferencia se achica a la hora de las presiones. All\u00ed, no hay equipos grandes, medianos o chicos. El hincha exige lo mismo para quien gana fortunas, aquel que vive bien o si apenas juega por el mango, que solo hay cuando se gana. Y el futbolista, es ante todo una persona. Uno m\u00e1s dentro de una sociedad d\u00f3nde cada vez es menos sano trascender. El jugador tiene los mismos problemas que cualquier trabajador. Algunos, no cobran les deben plata y no llegan a fin de mes, como cualquier mortal. Pero lo m\u00e1s importante de tener en cuenta, es que un jugador tiene una vida, sentimientos, problemas, familia como cualquier otro ser humano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y \u00e9l no era la excepci\u00f3n. Sus problemas particulares afectaban su rendimiento, como pasa en cualquier orden de la vida. Claro, que a ellos se les exige m\u00e1s. \u00bfC\u00f3mo van a estar tristes si son jugadores de f\u00fatbol? \u00bfC\u00f3mo van a estar mal si tienen todo lo que nosotros quisi\u00e9ramos y no tenemos? No se les permite ser humanos, ellos son jugadores de f\u00fatbol, una raza alien\u00edgena de s\u00faper h\u00e9roes, que todo lo pueden y d\u00f3nde pedir un psic\u00f3logo, es una muestra de debilidad. Lo hacen con los chicos de inferiores, los hacen con los profesionales.
