Si bien ya ha manifestado su deseo por colgar los guantes, Marcela “La Tigresa” Acu\u00f1a<\/strong> confirm\u00f3 que seguir\u00e1 defendiendo el t\u00edtulo de campeona mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A pesar de su inactividad por causa de la pandemia, la Tigresa est\u00e1 a la espera de la reapertura de los gimnasios para volver a retomar los entrenamientos y poder disputar sus \u00faltimas peleas antes de su retiro. En un Facebook Live de Planeta Sport<\/em> habl\u00f3 sobre su pasado y de su gran lucha por el derecho de la mujer en el mundo del deporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– \u00bfC\u00f3mo fue entrar al mundo del boxeo y por qu\u00e9 tomaste esa decisi\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde que tengo siete a\u00f1os empec\u00e9 a practicar full contact (boxeo con patadas) y cuando vi a Christy Martin por televisi\u00f3n, mi referente y mi imagen a seguir, dije eso es lo que yo quiero ser, quiero ser campeona mundial y que todas mis peleas sean televisadas en todo el mundo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando empec\u00e9 a practicar ese deporte, el reglamento femenino no exist\u00eda, fue muy dif\u00edcil poder entrenar y convencer a la dirigencia de la Federaci\u00f3n Argentina de Boxeo e ingresar al mundo del boxeo. Pero con la ayuda de mi marido, de mi familia y la perseverancia que me caracteriza empec\u00e9 a entrenar y buscar la forma que la reglamentaci\u00f3n para las mujeres existiera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


– El sue\u00f1o de tu madre era que seas bailarina, \u00bfen esa \u00e9poca fue dif\u00edcil decirle que quer\u00edas ser boxeadora?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mi mam\u00e1 quer\u00eda que yo sea bailarina de danzas espa\u00f1olas, fue muy duro decirle que ese no era mi sue\u00f1o, sino el suyo. Lo m\u00edo pasaba por otro lado sin escalas. Para ella fue fuerte pero me entendi\u00f3, me acompa\u00f1\u00f3 y fue mi fan n\u00famero uno, acompa\u00f1\u00e1ndome y cuid\u00e1ndome con las dietas. Si no ten\u00eda su apoyo tal vez no hubiera llegado a ser campeona.

– \u00bfQu\u00e9 pensas del feminismo?, \u00bfte representa?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si en esa \u00e9poca los movimientos de mujeres hubiera sido como ahora, la aceptaci\u00f3n del boxeo y el visto bueno a la reglamentaci\u00f3n hubiese ocurrido a\u00f1os anteriores, la sociedad habr\u00eda entendido que tenemos el mismo derecho de poder hacer lo mismo que los hombres. Me acompa\u00f1ar\u00edan muchas m\u00e1s mujeres y no habr\u00eda sido la \u00fanica mujer queriendo boxear en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No me gusta encasillarme o ponerme un titulo. Estoy a favor de todos los movimientos de mujeres que pelean por el derecho de igualdad entre el hombre y la mujer. No considero ser superior o mejor que los hombres, somos iguales y necesitamos los mismos derechos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunque hemos logrado muchas cosas dentro del deporte, de la sociedad y de la pol\u00edtica, hay que seguir luchando entre todas y con las nuevas generaciones para que todo sea natural y nadie se asuste por ver a una nena jugar al f\u00fatbol o boxeando, o que un nene quiera hacer danzas. Estoy trabajando en eso para que todos podamos hacer lo que sintamos y nos gusta sin prejuicios por una sociedad que impone estereotipos que, en realidad, no existen. Yo lo sufr\u00ed y no quiero que las futuras generaciones pasen por lo mismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– \u00bfTe cost\u00f3 la aceptaci\u00f3n o adaptaci\u00f3n al boxeo?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No me tuve que adaptar a nada, los que se tuvieron que adaptar fueron los hombres al sentirse invadidos. El boxeo se tuvo que adaptar a la mujer, es algo muy loco pero sucedi\u00f3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diecinueve a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s ten\u00eda a la sociedad, al periodismo y a la dirigencia de la FAB en contra para poder entrenar y me lo hicieron sentir. Hoy es todo diferente y m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil con la aparici\u00f3n de todas las mujeres que tienen las mismas ideas y sue\u00f1os que tengo yo. Hice o\u00eddos sordos y apunt\u00e9 hacia mis objetivos, de esa manera logr\u00e9 el respeto y admiraci\u00f3n de los hombres, de la FAB yde la gente que pens\u00f3 que no iba a lograr nada. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
