La temporada 2020 promet\u00eda mucho en la previa por los cambios que se realizaron con respecto al 2019. Con la salida de Citro\u00ebn de la competici\u00f3n, solo tres marcas oficiales luchar\u00e1n por el Campeonato de Constructores: Hyundai, Toyota y Ford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Todo parece indicar que la pelea estar\u00e1 entre dos equipos<\/strong>. Por un lado, la escuder\u00eda coreana <strong>Hyundai<\/strong>, que intentar\u00e1 defender el t\u00edtulo de campe\u00f3n de constructores conseguido en 2019 pese a que sus autos no fueron los m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos en la clasificaci\u00f3n general final. Para retener la corona mantuvieron en el equipo a su piloto principal <strong>Thierry Neuville<\/strong> y sumaron al vigente campe\u00f3n del WRC <strong>Ott Tanak<\/strong> mientras que <strong>Dani Sordo y Sebastian Loeb<\/strong> compartir\u00e1n el tercer i20, este ultimo con el fin de aportar al desarrollo del coche. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la vereda del frente, la firma japonesa <strong>Toyota<\/strong> intentar\u00e1 en esta temporada ser la m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida nuevamente en el Campeonato de pilotos, pero su m\u00e1ximo objetivo ser\u00e1 conquistar el t\u00edtulo por equipos. Por la baja de Tanak sumaron al m\u00faltiple campe\u00f3n <strong>Sebastian Ogier<\/strong> como piloto principal, acompa\u00f1ado por el brit\u00e1nico <strong>Elfyn Evans<\/strong> y el joven <strong>Kalle Rovampera<\/strong> como tercer piloto con tan solo 19 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Un escal\u00f3n mas abajo aparece Ford<\/strong>, con su Fiesta WRC y la misi\u00f3n de cosechar la m\u00e1xima cantidad de puntos posibles. La 88\u00b0 edici\u00f3n se disputo del 23 al 26 de enero. Thierry Neuvile se hizo de la victoria, luego del trago amargo en la pasada temporada cuando perdi\u00f3 por tan solo dos segundos ante Ogier. En una carrera con condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas extra\u00f1as, el piloto belga corri\u00f3 desde atr\u00e1s en los primeros d\u00edas de carrera a los Toyota Yaris. Finalmente, en la \u00faltima jornada apret\u00f3 el acelerador a fondo y se qued\u00f3 con la primera prueba del a\u00f1o superando por 12 segundos al franc\u00e9s Sebastian Ogier. Complet\u00f3 el podio el brit\u00e1nico Elfyn Evans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luego de que Hyundai picara en punta en la primera prueba del a\u00f1o, Toyota se recuper\u00f3 en <strong>Suecia<\/strong>. Elfyn Evans fue quien se hizo del primer puesto en la segunda fecha de la temporada disputada entre el 13 y 16 de febrero, el brit\u00e1nico gan\u00f3 la carrera de principio a fin, aprovech\u00f3 al m\u00e1ximo el poder de su auto y fue inalcanzable para el resto de los competidores. Lo acompa\u00f1aron en el podio Ott Tanak y su compa\u00f1ero de equipo Kalle Rovampera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M\u00e9xico fue la \u00faltima parada del WRC en este 2020<\/strong>. Con la pandemia avanzando con velocidad por los distintos pa\u00edses, los autos pusieron primera en la fecha numero 3. En medio de pol\u00e9micas se corrieron los primeros d\u00edas de carrera. Finalmente, la organizaci\u00f3n decidi\u00f3 suspender la \u00faltima jornada por que el coronavirus ya estaba presente en el pa\u00eds. Luego de la decisi\u00f3n, Sebastian Ogier se coron\u00f3 campe\u00f3n de la prueba secundado por Ott Tanak. El tercer lugar del podio fue para el piloto de Ford, Teemu Suninen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por el momento, hasta la fecha 3, <strong>Sebastian Ogier con su Toyota lideran el campeonato de pilotos con 62 puntos<\/strong>, en la segunda posici\u00f3n aparece su compa\u00f1ero de equipo Elfyn Evans con 54 y en la tercera colocaci\u00f3n con 42 unidades se ubica el piloto de Hyundai Thierry Neuville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>campeonato de constructores es liderado por Toyota<\/strong> hasta el momento con 110 puntos, segundo lugar para Hyundai con 89 unidades y completa la tabla Ford con 65.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"WRC - Final Results : Rally Guanajuato M\u00e9xico 2020\" width=\"740\" height=\"416\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CKdoUJc0sKc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lo que viene<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Los motores se encuentran detenidos y <strong>por ahora no hay novedades sobre que vuelvan a rugir<\/strong>. Una semana despu\u00e9s de terminar anticipadamente el Rally de M\u00e9xico, la organizaci\u00f3n confirmo que un miembro del staff dio positivo en covid-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La primera decisi\u00f3n que se tom\u00f3 fue la <strong>cancelaci\u00f3n del Rally de Argentina<\/strong> que se iba a disputar entre el 23 y 26 de abril. Todav\u00eda falta definir si la fecha ser\u00e1 reprogramada o finalmente reci\u00e9n el a\u00f1o pr\u00f3ximo podremos ver acci\u00f3n de los poderosos autos en nuestro territorio. \u00b4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las \u00faltimas determinaciones que tom\u00f3 la FIA fue la suspensi\u00f3n de las siguientes jornadas, primero la de Portugal, luego Italia y finalmente Kenia que iban a disputarse en mayo, junio y julio respectivamente.
