La caminata lenta me empezaba a alejar del Mario Kempes. Estas nuevas costumbres hacen que cada paso vaya acompa\u00f1ado de teclear algunas letras del celular dejando opiniones en una red social. La credencial me colgaba en el pecho y me identificaba como habitante de la jungla period\u00edstica. Seguramente fue la raz\u00f3n para que \u00e9ste hincha me mirara tan fijamente. Era tan fuerte fue su mirada que yo la percib\u00ed dejando por un segundo de mirar la pantalla para cruzar las miradas y escuchar la sentencia del hincha: “Ey guaso, Villagra es argentino, d\u00edganle a Scaloni<\/a>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talleres<\/a> acababa de ganarle a Boca un partido donde la superioridad del Matador fue abrumadora y en esa superioridad Rodrigo Villagra tuvo un partido superlativo. Claro que nosotros los periodistas no podemos analizar como hinchas. Ojo, eso no quiere decir que el periodista no sea hincha pero debe analizar cosas que el hincha no. Y esto no refiere a “sacarse la camiseta”, puede hacerlo con la camiseta puesta, pero teniendo un an\u00e1lisis cr\u00edtico y severo de cada situaci\u00f3n a la que har\u00e1 referencia. Entonces, tuve la idea de consumir los medios nacionales, para ver que dec\u00edan all\u00ed de Rodrigo Villagra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Primero que nada, entendamos por ‘nacionales’ no a medios que deben hablar de todos los equipos de un pa\u00eds. Entendamos que se les llama ‘nacionales’ porque llegan a todo el pa\u00eds, hablando de Boca y River. Esto no es una cr\u00edtica, el negocio es ese y no es tema de discusi\u00f3n de esta columna. Para no marearme de tantos programas parecidos en distintas se\u00f1ales, eleg\u00ed mirar solo ESPN. En todos sus programas, durante todo el lunes, en solo uno y solo un panelista nombr\u00f3 a Rodrigo Villagra<\/a>. Solo uno. No import\u00f3 que fuera la descollante figura del partido m\u00e1s importante de la fecha. No import\u00f3 que se comiera toda la mitad de cancha esa que tenia a Varela o Pol Fern\u00e1ndez, jugadores por los que el periodismo nacional se babosea todas las semanas. No import\u00f3 que sea asistidor, ni que pise el \u00e1rea, ni que estuvo a punto de marcar el gol de la fecha. Nada import\u00f3, ni eso ni la estad\u00edstica, solo un panelista lo nombr\u00f3 en 24 horas de programaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Selecci\u00f3n Argentina<\/a> tiene enormes jugadores en el medio campo, en la actualidad y de cara a 2026. Rodrigo Villagra tiene 21 a\u00f1os y no se ha puesto ninguna de las camisetas que son vidriera, aunque con el Flaco Menotti en las selecciones nacionales no le ser\u00eda nuevo mirar para el interior, pero eso no es lo importante. No es importante porque lejos est\u00e1 este periodista de pedirla Selecci\u00f3n para el volante de Talleres<\/a>.
