El f\u00fatbol ingl\u00e9s<\/a>, le volvi\u00f3 a abrir las puertas a los fondos multimillonarios, que deciden invertir en este deporte. Esta vez le toc\u00f3 al Newcastle<\/a>, que pas\u00f3 a ser propiedad del Fondo de Inversi\u00f3n P\u00fablica de Arabia Saudita, por la cifra de 350 millones de Euros. De esta manera, Arabia Saudita se sienta a “competir” con los fondos que manejan otros clubes y que representan a Qatar o a los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos, en una clara movida geopol\u00edtica. Mientras miles de hinchas celebraban en Saint Jame’s Park, pocos se preguntaban quienes eran estos inversores y a qu\u00e9 respond\u00edan. Capaz que por eso celebraban, por desconocimiento o porque no les importa nada m\u00e1s, que salir a romper mercados de pases en breve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Fondo le pertenece al pr\u00edncipe heredero del reino, Mohamed bin Salman, nada m\u00e1s ni nada menos, que tiene algunos muertos que esconder y esto es literal. Normalmente los medios hegem\u00f3nicos poco eco se hacen de los cr\u00edmenes de los pa\u00edses aliados a occidente. Si los gobiernos tienden a la izquierda, r\u00e1pidamente se ver\u00e1n titulares de cr\u00edmenes, impunidad o corrupci\u00f3n. Pero el resto de las cosas que pasan a la derecha del sistema, nadie la ve, nadie las cuenta. Lo claro es que Arabia Saudita es un r\u00e9gimen y dentro de \u00e9l se asesinan personas, como el caso del periodista Jamai Kadhoggi, cuyo cad\u00e1ver fue descuartizado despu\u00e9s de asistir a un evento en la embajada Saud\u00ed en Estambul. En \u00e9ste caso, es un detalle menor y muy poco relevante para la FA y los hinchas de las Urracas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una de las preguntas m\u00e1s importantes ser\u00eda \u00bfGana algo la Premier League dejando entrar \u00e9stos fondos? Porque lejos est\u00e1 de fomentar la competencia, por el contrario, la monopoliza en un pu\u00f1ado de clubes<\/a>. Es dif\u00edcil entender la l\u00f3gica del ente regulador, salv\u00f3 que todo se entienda como (solo) un negocio una vez m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y no me quiero olvidar de los hinchas del Newcastle. Es que, los nuestros son tan bastardeados, minimizados y se le cuelga el cartel de “termos” y sin embargo, son menos que los de las Urracas. Festejos, disfraces y dem\u00e1s cotill\u00f3n, celebrando la compra y pensando en los refuerzos, sin atinar levemente, a pensar quienes son los inversores, disculpen el romanticismo, pero est\u00e1 esto lejos del sentido de pertenencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poco claro me queda, que se celebra. Me cuesta entenderlo, porque el f\u00fatbol<\/a> no es solo 22 tipos tras una pelota, es un mont\u00f3n de otras cosas que pasan y giran alrededor. Pasa el tiempo y el f\u00fatbol se parece cada vez m\u00e1s a un deporte sin reglas. Claro, sin reglas financieras y claramente no le importa, lo relevante ser\u00e1 ganar a cualquier precio.
